To approve the renewal of the lease of Stoke Park – Ice Cream Parlour (Former paddling pool plant room) dated 02/11/2021 in line with the following terms and conditions:

For grant of a new lease the rent will be £3746.00 which is which in accordance with the Council’s General Disposal Consent powers, provides the ‘best consideration reasonably obtainable’.

Due to recent closures for refurbishment of the paddling pool impacting the tenant’s business, it is not proposed to increase the rent for the coming year.

The agreed term is one year only as Parks and Leisure Services are due to tender for a catering contract across all sites this year.

The rent will be payable quarterly in advance.
