The Council has received a request to grant retrospective consent under the terms of the transfer of 61 Almond Close for the construction of an extension at first floor level comprising bedroom lounge kitchen/dining room and bathroom to be used as a granny annexe at the Property as approved by the Local Planning Authority on the tenth day of January 1989 under reference number 88/P/01906. As the transfer restricts the use of the property to one dwelling, it will be necessary for the transfer to be varied to remedy the current breach.

Reasons for the decision:

The construction of the granny annexe has not had an adverse effect on the surrounding neighbourhood, and the variation is required to facilitate the sale of the property.
