To approve the sale of the land and buildings
known as Cemetery Lodge, 1 Weyside Road, Guildford, GU1 1HZ in line
with the following terms and conditions:
The reason for the sale is to obtain a capital receipt by
negotiating and agreeing terms for a disposal. This will be
achieved at best consideration following a market campaign on the
open market. We are looking to achieve between £500,000 and
£550,000.
We are selling the property with the benefit of residential
use.
In accordance with the Council’s General Disposal Consent
powers, this transaction provides the ‘best consideration
reasonably obtainable’.
The purchaser will be paying all the Council’s costs in
relation to the sale.
