Planning Committee determines planning applications and related
matters which have not been dealt with by Officers under delegated
authority. The Planning Committee meets every four weeks.
Owing to the High Courts recent ruling that the emergency covid-19
legislation could not be extended beyond 6 May 2021 to permit the
continuation of virtual meetings, all future meetings of the
Planning Committee will now have to be held in person. Also, owing to the lifting of the Covid-19
regulations as of 19 July, everyone who is participating in the
meeting, key officers, members of the Committee, ward councillors
