The Council's existing licensing agreement for
use of Unit4 ERP ("Business World") expires on 30th May 2023. To
continue using this system as the Council's Finance and HR/Payroll
platform, a new licensing agreement needs to be agreed.
Procurement of Unit4 ERP services, to continue
to supply a Finance, HR and payroll platform for the
Council.
The Council's existing ERP agreement expired
on 30th May 2023. The Council continues to require a Finance, HR
and payroll platform.
It is less than three years since the Council
initially went live with Unit4 ERP, a significant implementation
that continued through incremental delivery of functionality since.
Migration to an alternative platform would take a further
significant investment and would have needed to start shortly after
the original implementation in order to have migrated at this
time.
Given the recent nature of the original implementation, it was not
considered value for money to seek to replace the platform so soon
after implementation.
