The Homes for Ukraine (H4U) budget is being

Private sector housing (PSH) have been
delivering the homes for Ukraine scheme for the council. Now that
this work has taken officers away from BAU in PSH - PSH need
backfilling to be able to deal with multiple areas that have not
been fully completed since taking on homes for ukraine on behalf of
the council.
There are no alterative measures to implement
both the homes for ukraine scheme and PSH BAU deliverables for
residents of GBC if this ECF backfill was not hired for another 12
months. There will also be 400 HMO applications in 2023 and lots of
other PSh work that means this resource is essential.
