Decision:

Parks require the survey of OPM nests in oak trees so that we can identify where the nests are to enable us to have them removed so that we avoid the human health hazard and comply with our duty of care.

The decision is a renewal of last years contact. It was awarded to Martin Townsend, Consultant Egologist.

Reasons for the decision:

To comply with the councils duty of care with regards to the health risk from OPM.

OF SERVICE, AND SERVICE LEADERS 1. To act in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Financial Procedure Rules.

the premises and services for which they are responsible in accordance with the policies
and procedures laid down by the Council, including:
(a) incurring expenditure within approved budgetary provision,
(b) authorising the procurement or commissioning of works, goods and services
(c) entering into contracts (in consultation with the relevant Lead Councillor where
the value is above £200,000), memoranda of understanding or other
arrangements
