The Council has attempted to recruit Business World expertise
unsuccessfully. Continuation of the existing support and
maintenance service is required to ensure Finance and HR
functionality continues whilst alternative options are
considered.
Business World is a business-critical system
(providing core Finance and HR/Payroll functionality for the
Council). Support and maintenance services are required to ensure
the system continues to function properly as well as to support
improvements within the system.
The Council’s resource and budget model
assumed in-house resource could be recruited to fulfil support and
maintenance needs. The Council has however been unsuccessful in
recruiting Business World expertise despite multiple
attempts.
