To enter in to a contract with Pinsent Masons
to provide legal advice on the Ash Road Bridge project for the
period 16 January 2022 to 30 June 2022.
To enable the continuity of advice as required
on this project. Due to time constraints and the critical point of
the contract negotiations aligned with the need to meet Homes
England agreed milestones. This direct aware is being made to
Pinsent Masons to take the project through to June 2022 when the
project is at a point where a procurement can be undertaken for
future legal advice on the project.
The original instruction was via a framework
agreement and the same rates have been maintained. It is necessary
and proportionate for the reasons set out above to ensure the
continuity of advice at this critical stage.
