To approve the grant of a contacted-out lease
of Millmead House Kitchen area to Neat2Eat in line with the
following terms and conditions:
It is proposed that the Council will grant a lease to Neat2 Eat for
a term of 1 year over the kitchen area at Millmead House. The rent
will be £22,807 pa.
The rent will be payable annually in advance.
The tenant receives a grant from the Council amounting to
£25,000 for the financial year 2021-2022.

Neat2Eat N2E is a subsidiary of FoodWise
trading as a not-for-profit social enterprise employing, educating
and empowering young adults who are struggling to find work,
long-term unemployed, not in education or need other support into
employment. They will be using the kitchen as a training base to
teach cookery, as well as teaching young people how to set up
catering businesses.
The decision meets the policy requirements for
the Council and there were no alternative options
available
