To approve the grant of a contacted-out lease of Millmead House Kitchen area to Neat2Eat in line with the following terms and conditions:

It is proposed that the Council will grant a lease to Neat2 Eat for a term of 1 year over the kitchen area at Millmead House. The rent will be £22,807 pa.

The rent will be payable annually in advance.

The tenant receives a grant from the Council amounting to £25,000 for the financial year 2021-2022.

Reasons for the decision:

Neat2Eat N2E is a subsidiary of FoodWise trading as a not-for-profit social enterprise employing, educating and empowering young adults who are struggling to find work, long-term unemployed, not in education or need other support into employment. They will be using the kitchen as a training base to teach cookery, as well as teaching young people how to set up catering businesses.
