Natural England has issued updated guidance
covering the delivery of new Suitable Alternative Natural
Greenspaces (SANGs). The previous guidance forms part of the Thames
Basin Heaths Special Protection Area Avoidance Strategy 2017
Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) as it is included in Appendix
4 of the SPD. In order to ensure the SPD remains up to date, the
existing guidance will be deleted and replaced with a link to the
new guidance on the Council’s website.
To ensure the SPD remains up-to-date.
Retaining the out of date guidance within the SPD would mislead
planning applicants and decision makers.
