Consultation process
Officers:
James Beach (Lead Specialist - ICT): Recommendation to continue
existing use of Microsoft technologies. A software partner tender
is currently concluding that will provide a Microsoft partner on a
fixed margin basis. It is recommended that we use this partner to
arrange a suitable Microsoft licensing provision for the
organisation. It is expected that the partner will recommend a new
Microsoft Enterprise Agreement to replace the expiring one. An
Enterprise Agreement provides a 3 year arrangement.
