In order to facilitate the residential development of the former Westway site, previously sold by the Council, the proposal is to vary the original transfer document (TP1) to clearly define the rights reserved to the Council, improving the access and parking rights as well as the facilities for the adjacent Aldershot Rd allotment users. The owners of the former Westway site will be providing utilities services to the entrance of the allotment site. The services will include electricity, foul drainage and water connections (all capped off and metered).

Guildford Allotment Society have been consulted and are supportive of this proposal and will benefit from 6 car parking spaces on site.
