To approve the grant of a new lease of part of
Sutherland Memorial Park Cricket Pavilion, for the purposes of
equipment storage to Guildford City Cricket Youth Project
(GCCYP)
Terms are as follows:
• Five-year lease
• Rent review after three years at RPI
• Tenant only break option after three years with a six-month
notice period.
For grant of a new lease the rent will be £75.00 per annum
inclusive of service charges and in accordance with the
Council’s General Disposal Consent powers, provides the
‘best consideration reasonably obtainable’.
The rent will be payable annually in advance and subject to an
uplift in line with the Retail Price Index after three years.
