RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting held on 22 November 2021 be approved as a correct record.

Exclusion of the Public The Joint Appointments Committee is asked to consider passing the following resolution:
“That pursuant to Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during consideration of the item, there would be disclosure to them of exempt information (as defined by Section 100I of the Act) of the description specified in Paragraphs 1 and 4 of the revised Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act:
(1) Information relating to any individual (4) Information relating to any consultations or negotiations, or contemplated consultations or negotiations, in connection with any labour relations matters arising between the authority or a Minister of the Crown and employees of, or office-holders under, the authority.”

RESOLVED: That the recommendations contained in the exempt report be approved, subject to the deferral of the recommendation in paragraph 2.2.3 of the report for further HR and Legal advice.
