Having been advised that all relevant parties had reached an agreement on the conditions to be attached to a new premises licence to allow the provision of late night refreshment from 11pm to 4am, Monday to Saturday, and 11pm to 2am on a Sunday and that the proposed hearing could be dispensed with, the Sub-Committee agreed to make their decision without the hearing.

The Sub-Committee noted that the only representation received to the application for a new premises licence was from the Licensing Team Leader.  He had subsequently proposed conditions to deal with the matters raised in the representation and the applicant had agreed to those conditions. The Sub-Committee indicated its agreement by way of holding a virtual meeting to accept the conditions and grant the licence as applied for.  The Sub-Committee accepted the Licensing Team Leader’s indication that imposing the conditions would meet the concerns raised in the representation. The Sub-Committee discussed the wording of the conditions and made some amendments to ensure the conditions were clear and enforceable and did not duplicate other statutory requirements.

The Sub-Committee RESOLVED that the premises licence in respect of Meat Eats Meat, Egerton Road, Guildford, Surrey be granted and the conditions be applied to the licence as follows:
