To award the contract to an existing service
provision contract with First Advantage to enable us to carry out
digital ID checks. First Advantage have an existing contract with
the Council to carry out DBS checks and this is an additional
service now offered by them.
An effective ID check process is required
within the recruitment and selection procedure as this is a
statutory requirement.

Other providers would not be considered as this is an additional
service available within our existing contract for other related
services with First Advantage.

To take any action in relation to the procurement and the letting
of contracts for goods and services, within approved budgets. The
authority has been delegated to the Lead Specialist HR in the
Scheme of Authorisations approved by the Assistant Director,
Organisational Development.
