Decision details

Signing of Westworks Framework User Agreement

Decision Maker: Joint Executive Head: Regeneration and Planning Policy

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: No

Reviewing several options of frameworks through which we may run a competitive tender to appoint a contractor and sign the agreement in order that the framework provider will carry out a soft market test where they will provide some outline information to the contractors and ask if they are interested. Once completed we will then decide as to which framework (if any) we will use. The sites we are primarily looking to procure contractors for are as follows but once signed this would allow us to review any future sites too.

-      Land adjacent to 21-23 Dunmore

-      Land adjacent to 27 Broomfied

-      17 Wharf Lane

-      108 Georgelands

Reasons for the decision:

To enable the commencement of soft market testing of contractors in relation to some of the HRA Small Sites, and potential future use of the framework for procurement.

Alternative options considered:

Other framework options are also under review.
