Procurement of mobile telephony services from BT PLC, to supply mobile telephony connections for the Council.

The Council has completed a fixed term pricing period for mobile telephony services. The Council continues to require mobile telephony connections for uses such as smartphones and tablets.

The new agreement will reduce the per-connection cost for the Council, whilst providing shorter individual contract periods (minimising the cost when connections are no longer needed).

Options under Crown Commercial Services framework RM6261 Lot 1 were scored against the Council's requirements.

BT PLC scored highest overall, and was therefore recommended for award.
