GBC will be purchasing the garage at 3 Szabo
Crescent, GU3 2EL and it will then become part of HRA
stock.
There are 4 garages in total, 3 of which are
already owned by GBC. These garages have fallen into disrepair and
it is more financially economical to purchase the garage which GBC
do not currently own, as opposed to refurbishing all
garages.
Alternative option of refurbishing garages
considered, however the cost is too high.

DIRECTORS AND SERVICE LEADERS 2. To undertake the day-to-day
management and operation of staff reporting to them and of the
premises and services for which they are responsible in accordance
with the policies and procedures laid down by the Council,
including: (c) entering into contracts (in consultation with the
relevant Lead Councillor where the value is above £200,000),
memoranda of understanding or other arrangements,
