The Council to enter a 12-month licence over the Toll House, Millbrook, to enable the operation of the sluice gates as the National Trust see fit for the purposes of maintaining the River Wey Navigation levels in line with the following terms and conditions:

The licence will be granted by the Council to the National Trust as Licencee.

The parties have agreed for the Council to pay the Licencee a fee of £12,000 for the 12-month licence with each party bearing their own legal costs.

To enable the Council to fulfil its legal obligation to operate the sluice gates at the request of the National Trust.
