To enter into the Deed of Grant of easements for underground electric lines at Guildford Lido, Lido Road, Guildford, GU1 1HB

Reasons for the decision:

To enter into the Grant of Deed of Grant of easements for a permanent right to South Eastern Power Networks PLC to install and maintain a 33KVA HV underground cable at land adjacent to and through Guildford Lido car park. For the purposes of the Weyside Urban Village scheme, the Council’s new depot and the Thames Water NSTW.

The majority of the cable route is through Surrey County Council adopted highway where UKPN has statutory rights. The reason why the cable is to cross Council owned land at this location is because there is no room to accommodate the cables within the adopted highway at the crossing of Stoke Rd and Parkway.
