Agreement to the member licence for APGB
(Aerial Photography for Great Britain).
Aerial photography is an important part of
planning enforcement, amongst other Council processes. The Council
maintains a mapping system. Maintaining aerial photography layers
ensures the Council gets the most from its mapping system.
The Cabinet Office has agreed aerial photography licences which
enables public sector organisations access to the photography at no
cost through a free membership of the APGB (Aerial Photography for
Great Britain).
As this is a zero cost solution provided by
central government for this purpose, no commercial solutions were
considered.
