In order to undertake works in the existing
public highway, it is necessary for Guildford Borough Council to
enter into an agreement with the Highway Authority (Surrey County
Council), to be given the permission to do works.
To enter into a s278 Agreement for the
delivery of improvements to the existing public highway at
Woodlands Road Junction
MUST be completed / actions explained. If

The Council: Delegates to the Strategic Director of Place, in
consultation with the Lead Councillor for Regeneration and Lead
Councillor for Finance and Property, authority to enter into such
other contracts and legal agreements connected with the Weyside
Urban Village project as may be appropriate in compliance with
Procurement Procedure Rules and within the approved budget.
