Procurement of consultancy services to satisfy
the recommendations of the SOLACE report that the case services
operating model be reviewed.
Guildford is currently undertaking a number of
actions identified as important by the SOLACE reports provided in
summer 2024. In order to review our operating model for case
services, an objective viewpoint was required in the form of an
external consultant.
The review and report are time constrained to meet the agreed
timeline set by SOLACE. The review is required to be completed by
autumn 2024.
An in-house review was rejected on the basis
it may be seen to not be objective and take on a biased
viewpoint.
Four providers were asked to quote for the consultancy work and the
best value was selected. This was also the lowest value
quote.
No other options have presented themselves in the constrained
timeframe.
