Grant of a new lease to November

To approve the grant of the lease of Unit 6,
6-8 Midleton Road, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1RU to City Gate Community
Projects in line with the following terms and conditions:
A lease to 2031 with tenant break after 3 years and mutual break
after 6 years which in accordance with the Council’s General
Disposal Consent powers, provides the ‘best consideration
reasonably obtainable’ where the proposed term exceeds seven
(7) years.
The rent will be payable quarterly in advance and subject to and
rent review at year 5.
In accordance with best estate management
practice.
The decision meets the statutory / policy
requirements for the Council and there were no alternative options
available
