The Council’s tenant of the above mentioned property has requested that they be given licence to allow the sub-letting of part - Unit 3, Weyford House, 21 – 22 Woodbridge Meadows, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1BA to Shin Kick Limited (company number) for a term of twelve years, outside the act.
The headlease permitted use is B1 and B8, Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended). B1 has been replaced by B2 so therefore the current permitted user under the headlease is now B2 and B8.
Unit 3 has been previously used as a dance and music studio, obtaining planning consent for D1 (education and training) use in 2017. D1 is now replaced by E(e-f). The proposed subtenant wishes to change this to E(d)- Martial arts gym (indoor sport, recreation, or fitness).
Planning consent has been granted 20/P/01800 and the Council cannot unreasonably withhold or delay consent.
